The artist and photographer Jon Gipe claims a childhood fascination with the dioramas at New York's Museum of Natural History inspired him to create his curiosities, however he's coy about exactly how he does it.
He cryptically cites "stew meat and puppets."
Suffice to say it took him eight months to figure out how to combine a multitude of techniques and media to recreate his contemporary version of the Wunderkammer.
