Green Lake in Tragoess, Austria, sits at the foot of the snow-capped Hochschwab mountains.
As soon as temperatures begin to rise in the spring, the ice and snow on the mountaintops melt and runs down into the park basin below.
The park fills up with as much as 10 meters of ice-cold, crystal clear water (the distinctive green coloring comes from the grass and foliage beneath.)
In June, when the waters are highest, it becomes a mecca for divers keen to explore before the waters recede at the end of July.
